Set up Cisco AnyConnect on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Install AnyConnect from the App Store .

    *Note: If you are currently using AnyConnect for another VPN, you do not need to reinstall the application. You only need to add the new profile, as shown in the remaining steps.

  2. Open the AnyConnect app.
  3. Tap Connections.
  4. Tap Add VPN Connection.
  5. Tap Description.
  6. Enter in a name for your connection. (Optional)
  7. Tap Server Address.
  8. Enter us.cisadd2.com then tap Save.

  9. With the connection selected, tap the ON/OFF button.
  10. Enter your Username and Password, then tap Connect.

Set up Open VPN on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Download the OpenVPN Connect Application from the Apple App store.
  2. Open Safari on your iPhone/iPod/iPad and browse to OpenVPN Config File List
  3. From the page, Tap the region that you want to connect to.
  4. Tap Open in OpenVPN at the top
  5. In the OpenVPN connect Application, tap the Green + sign to add the VPN Profile. 
  6. Enter your Username and password
  7. Slide the Save option to On if you want to save your password
  8. To connect, Use the Slider below the Word Disconnected.

Troubleshooting

If you click on Connected in the application, it will show the log file. This can be useful for troubleshooting if you’re having problems getting the application to connect.

How to manually configure a VPN on your iPhone or iPad

With your login information on-hand, you can manually configure a VPN client on your iPhone or iPad.

L2TP PORT

Type: L2TP

Description: FollowerBox VPN (Optional)

Server: us.tuadd.com

Account: your username

RSA SecurID: Off

Password: your password

Secret: vpn2key

Send All Traffic: On

Proxy: Off

PPTP PORT (Not in iOS 10)

Type: PPTP

1. Launch Settings from your Home screen.

2. Tap General.

 

Open Settings, then tap General

 

3. Tap VPN.

4. Tap Add VPN Configuration.

 

Tap VPN, then tap Add VPN Configuration

 

5. Tap Type.

6. Select your VPN type from IKEv2, IPSec, or L2TP.

7. Tap Add Configuration in the upper left corner to go back to the previous screen.

 

Tap Type, select a type, tap Add Configuration

 

8. Enter the VPN settings information including description, server, and remote ID.

9. Enter your authentication login including your username (or certificate), and password.

10. If you use a proxy, enable it by tapping Manual or Auto, depending on your preferences.

11. Tap Done.

12. Under VPN Configurations, toggle the Status switch on.

When you’re done using the VPN, go to Settings > VPN to turn it off. To enable the VPN again in the future. Go to Settings > VPN and toggle the Status switch on.
